Executive Chef / WV
Elvin Pavlenko grew up in Teaneck, New Jersey in a Latvian family that loved food and exploring restaurants together. After a first job cooking at a restaurant in his home town, Elvin explored other career paths before returning to his first interest and passion in cooking. Growing up, grilled meats were his favorite thing to cook and featured heavily in the Eastern European and Russian food he cooked with his family. Elvin studied at Institute of Culinary Education in New York City before earning a position in the Quality Meats kitchen. He worked as a sous chef in New Jersey and returned to the city to be on the opening team of Quality Eats in the West Village, where he has earned the position of executive chef and is back to grilling meats and creating the Quality menu.
